My name is Rachel Lewis. This is my first tattoo, I got it on my left lower thigh of a Infinity sign with a special twist, of it being a tentacle. I’m so happy with it. I got it done May 23, 2012. By Dom, at Resurrection Ink in Savannah, GA.
Kuksi’s works have received several awards and prizes and has been featured in over 100 exhibitions in galleries and museums worldwide including the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery .
I got several, “Oh I never saw THAt tattoo on your arm before.” “Well,” I said, “I’m slowly building up to a sleeve when I have the money to do so.”
“Oh god, Nichole! Don’t do that! Your arms are so pretty and what about what it’ll look like when you’re in a wedding dress?!” “I think it’ll look great since I’ll like the art” “Yes, sure, but I just think that looks so tacky!”
Then don’t fucking get tattoos for your wedding dress! Plus why is my goal of life to look good in a god damn wedding dress? Why isn’t it to be covered in art I love that reflects who I am?
I also got a few similar thing when I said I was think of dying my hair red again (or at least ginger) after about half a year of it being dark brown/black. I got a “Oh! But I love your black hair! Its sucha pretty colour! I’ve always wanted that colour of hair!”
May I note my mother dyes her hair ALL of the time and it’s always brown with blond highlights. If she really wanted dark hair so much, she would’ve dyed it black at least once.
/eternal frustration of other people telling you how they think you’d look better
This comic is about how there are two sides to every story.
I know there are legitimately people who are unbalanced, but it’s been my experience that a lot of dudes who describe someone they’ve dated as “crazy” really mean “they acted like a person with feelings and desires of their own.”
This is Loren’s 3rd session on his Mucha Biomech chest panel - sorry the color in the photo came out a bit off because his skin was still bleeding a bit.
